The qualifying round for the Customary Costume Parade (CCP), one of the competitive segments of Aaraathanaa, was held today at The Cultural Theatre at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Satheeish and Darsha did the honour of representing our SIM ICC. They did a 2-minute enactment of a scene from Ramayana, whereby Satheeish don the role of Ravana and Darsha as Sita. All their hard work has paid off and our couple has qualified for the grand finals of Aaraathanaa 2007 to be held on Saturday 6th October 2007 at the Ngee Ann Convention Centre at 4pm.Special thanks to Uma Mageswari & Mathiarasi who helped our participants with their dressing and make-up. Not forgetting the great support from all our members who were present there! Let us give our utmost support for them at the finals & hope to clinch our 3rd consecutive win this time round!
